Welcome to tommywelch.com, the home of my concert photography portfolio and online store also known as the Rock Star Garage.

I received my first SLR camera in 1978 and took it with me everywhere. That included concerts. Lots of concerts of many different genres. I wanted to document all that was happening at the time and as a result captured some rare and historic musical moments on film.

After almost 50 years I have decided to share these previously unseen and unpublished photographs as digital prints on archival paper. All the images offered are made from my original negatives and slides. If you have any questions about the shows or the photography please contact me for more information.
