Jerry Garcia 1980 (Mezzo)

This previously unpublished photograph of the Grateful Dead is from my personal collection of concert photography ranging from 1978 through 2019. I took this photo of the Grateful Dead at Boston Garden, Boston, MA, on May 12, 1980. I captured this iconic image of Jerry Garcia using a Minolta SR T101 camera and 35 mm Kodak Ektachrome film. I added a mezzotint to create the effect.
