The Tubes 1979

This previously unpublished photograph of The Tubes is from my personal collection of concert photography ranging from 1978 through 2019 I took this photo of the Tubes at the Orpheum Theatre, Boston, MA, on May 5, 1979. The Tubes put on an epic show with a lot of theatrics. The show featured many memorable moments but none more memorable than Fee Waybill, as ”Quay-Lewd” singing ”White Punks on Dope”.
